About Linden Hill Farm & Fiber Mill

We are Scott and Cher Wilner and Linden Hill Farm has been a dream 30 years in the making. Leaving behind lifelong careers in the building industry and corporate world, we are taking a leap to follow Cher’s passion for knitting, spinning, dyeing, weaving and all things fiber arts to build a sheep farm and mini-fiber mill.

We believe every fleece has a story that is as unique as the animals, shepherds, farms and fiber artists behind it. Every maker deserves thoughtful, transparent processing that honors their work from pasture to finished project.

Located at Linden Hill Farm in Lexington County, South Carolina, we are building our small‑batch fiber mill to serve shepherds, homesteaders, hand spinners, and fiber artists who want reliable and processing, clear communication, and results they can trust. We realize your fleece and fiber processing needs are as individual as each animal and our goal is to offer custom fiber processing with low minimums, making professional mill services accessible to large and small flocks as well as single‑fleece clients.

We are partnering with Belfast Mini Mills and our equipment will allow us to process each fiber batch with attention to its unique qualities. We will communicate openly at every step so there are no surprises along the way.

Our Fiber Mill is just the first step.  We hope you will join our community to support  local farms and fiber producers, share knowledge, and contribute to strengthening the regional fiber industry through education and collaboration.

Whether you’re sending in a single fleece, preparing fiber for hand spinning, or dreaming of yarn made from your own animals, we would be honored to be part of your fiber journey.
